Play By Play Sports Broadcasting Camps #SBCNation

As usual summer is the best time of the year for every kid. But what comes along with summer: SPORTS AND CAMP! Some kids go to camps in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, some go to basketball camp at Saint Joe's, and some go to Play By Play Sports Broadcasting Camps. Yes ladies and gentleman, there is a camp for sportscasting and it's all over the country.
Students from all over the US of A travel to Philadelphia, North Jersey, Boston, Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, and Los Angeles to meet sports players and announcers while working on activities to help boost public speaking skills and sports knowledge. While the final goal is to have all kids become successful journalists in sports, fun is being had, of course. Games like Stump the Schwab, In Your Face, and Scattegories are used to add a competitive, yet exciting, atmosphere in between visits from stars. Lunch is delicious being brought to you every day of the week so campers don't have to bring a bagged lunch every day. Past guests include:

Michael Barkann, Neil Hartman, Gregg Murphy, Ray Didinger - Comcast SportsNet anchors
Marc Zumoff- Sixers
Jim Jackson- Flyers
Sal Paolantonio- ESPN's preeminent football reporter
Glen Macnow and Paul Jolovitz – 610 WIP hosts

Chris Rose- Host Fox Best Damn Sports Show

Without a doubt the camp is an excellent way for kids to get their feet wet in the broadcasting field. The counselors are excellent, young, smart guys who help the kids through presentations and activities. Please go to:
