Neil Diamond Pays the Price?!?

Recently, Penn State Football has announced that they will no longer be playing Neil Diamond's classic "Sweet Caroline" during halftime at games. This is because of the line ".... touching me, touching you....." in the song. Lines like this will probably be avoided in any songs they play due to the recently-revaeled child abuse by longtime football coach Jerry Sandusky. In my opinion, it is just said that it has come to this for such a great tune. This song has been played at many sporting events throughout the years, including during the 7th-inning stretch at Red Sox games, and they even used to play it between the 2nd and 3rd period at Ranger games. However, Penn State is currently under so much scrutiny that they really don't have a choice. When you think about it, it is just depressing seeing what was once one of the greatest football programs in the country be in so much trouble they can't even play one of the most iconic songs in sports during their games!
